We have developed a unique three-stage process to create mobile and tablet versions of any publication.
- Take the PDFs of the magazine and convert into structured XML.
- Feed that into a content management system which lets an editor change the content or add extras.
- The editor then publishes to the device or devices or schedules to publish later at a given time.
The reader can browse the publication just like a normal page-turning magazine. Double-click on any article opens it in text mode. Or, just read the key articles in text with the pictures embedded.
Our system, built in conjunction with software house Implere, is not just predicated around iPhone and iPads, but will also work with the Android operating system and other tablets.
